Best LEGO Space Sets and Toys in 2024

Table of Contents

Hey friends, this time I’ve scouted out the top-rated Space Sets and Toys from LEGO in 2024. It seems LEGO believes this theme will resonate well with kids, with most sets targeting around 10-year-olds. As for options for adults, I only found five.

However, I believe there’s a sizable adult audience, like our Facebook group member Matthieu Cox, who loves Space Sets. So, I highly recommend checking out the Space Series from JMBricklayer. Compared to LEGO sets, the price is relatively affordable, and these sets are mainly geared toward youths aged 14 and up, making them great for older collectors too. If you’re eager to dive into JMBricklayer’s Space series right away, head to the bottom of the article for a sneak peek!

Comparison Table

To help everyone find the right LEGO space sets and toys more quickly, I created a comparison table. You can use it to choose the best sets for you based on price, age range, and the number of pieces!

  5. Both Lego Sets and Jmbricklayer Are really Amazing. My Fav Lego Is the Milky Way galaxy and Jmbricklayer Spaceman

  6. These sets are just incredible. I love how you can turn these seemingly plain pieces into something great

        1. I appreciate your focus on the look, head, and shoes! Which styles or trends are you into lately? Any favorite brands or pieces?

          1. I love the colorful animal print sneakers that are currently being used.
I also like a casual look that isn’t too sporty.

  7. These are some seriously cool sets! My son would love the shuttle and lunar rover my husband the space astronaut or space panda, and I would adore the Milky Way galaxy set!

  8. The space sets are far superior in my opinion. The number of different sets and the quality to detail is far better than any other brand. Thank you for always coming up with new and unique sets.

        1. I agree, the space shuttle design is fascinating! What specific aspects do you find most realistic? Also, do you have a favorite mission or moment in shuttle history?

          1. Sadly the shuttle explosion will always stick in my head because my teacher at the time had wanted to go and try out for that mission. I am so glad we did not nominate her.

  9. I really think you all need to design some mini fig sets or a fire station. Id love to see some city designs like skyscrapers and other things along those lines.

    1. Hi there! That’s a fantastic idea! Mini fig sets and a fire station would be awesome additions. Skyscrapers and other city designs could really bring a new level of detail and excitement to the collection. What specific elements would you like to see in a fire station set? Any favorite city landmarks you’d love to have in LEGO form? Let’s brainstorm some ideas together!

  10. Really love all the sets, Amazon to see put together and it was easy. the instructions could be better but not hard to follow after you figure out the beginning.

    1. Thanks for sharing your experience! Any specific part of the instructions you found tricky? Would love to hear more tips from others too!

  11. These sets are absolutely amazing. Lego sure has come a long way since my son was little. My rocketship/space obsessed grandson would be ecstatic to have any one of these.

    1. It’s wonderful to hear how much your grandson loves LEGO! The evolution of these sets is truly impressive. Have you looked into the latest NASA-inspired sets? They’re perfect for space enthusiasts. Maybe others here can share their favorites and experiences with them!

  12. let’s talk about sci-fi spaces ships, because today’s space ships are…primitive. StarWars, Star Treck and so on, space ships.

    1. Great point! Sci-fi ships inspire future tech. Which features from Star Wars or Star Trek would you love to see in real spaceships? Let’s brainstorm!

  13. The Milky Way looks awesome. I used to solve large jigsaw puzzles (5000+ pieces) but displaying them after I finished was a nightmare. Gluing it all together was messy and buying glass clip frames of that size was very expensive. Having bricks that hold together on their own would be a nice alternative.

    1. Absolutely, the Milky Way puzzle sounds like a fun project! I can relate to the struggle of displaying large jigsaw puzzles. Have you ever considered using a puzzle mat or a roll-up puzzle saver? They make it easier to store and transport your work without the mess of glue. Also, there are new frame options designed specifically for large puzzles that might be more affordable. Has anyone else here found a good solution for displaying big puzzles? I’d love to hear more ideas!

  14. My kids just finished construction sets in record time, so this could help a lot. A great family activity

    1. That sounds great! What did they enjoy most about building the sets? Any tips for keeping it fun and engaging for everyone?
