[iDs] is a channel/brand dedicated to creating animations, primarily using the LEGO BIONICLE theme as a medium—though not exclusively. On my YouTube channel, I produce stop-motion animations, 2D cartoons, memes/edits, and reviews of MOCs and other LEGO/brick-related products. One of my proudest creations is my original series, The Misadventures of Onipex and Pals. If you’re new to the series, I’d recommend checking out episodes like Company Collapse, Wingman, Dinner, Tan, and Drive-Thru—some of my personal favorites. Samon:
You mentioned that collaborating with Yori and JMBricklayer helped you smoothly step into video reviews and even inspired you to review your own MOCs. Could you walk us through how this experience has shaped your approach to content creation and why you believe it’s important for LEGO fans to stay open-minded about new brick-building companies like JMBricklayer?
The creator of the [ iDs ] channel:
Communicating with Yori regarding content production has always been smooth and incredibly helpful. They consistently provided support whenever I had any questions or encountered any issues. Creating review content for JMBricklayer products has been a good experience.
Before this, I hadn’t fully explored video reviews, and this opportunity helped me step into that space. It also encouraged me to start reviewing my own MOCs—something I might not have pursued otherwise.
My experience with JMBricklayer products has been excellent. I’ve been continually impressed by the quality and innovative designs of the sets I’ve worked with. Additionally, I was given great creative freedom in how I structured my reviews, making the process enjoyable, flexible, and engaging. My advice to LEGO fans is to keep an open mind and give new brick-building companies a chance.
While some alternatives in the past may have been disappointing, JMBricklayer has proven that high-quality, well-priced, and innovative alternatives do exist—offering designs and features you might not find in LEGO products.
