This is my first JM kit and I was worried about quality since it is an older kit. Turns out it was completely unwarranted.
The build was fun, and I had no issues with missing pieces. The instructions were pretty clear but there were one or two steps that I really had to think about to get. The hardest part of the build was the final part of the tower where the arbalest sits. The floor construction used some smaller plates that really could have been done with one or two bigger ones. In fact the only gripe I have is that there are clearly spots where a longer or wider brick would make more sense but they went with smaller pieces, likely to raise the pice count for the kit. Overall though I like it and had fun building it.

I really enjoyed this build. There are some desing choices with shorter pieces where one longer piece would make more sense. Overall it’s very nice, loads of details, and fairly well designed. Nothing is loose or feels un-sturdy. Verry pleased with the product.
