Dragon was an excellent build. The minifigure though was cheap and flimsy. Went in the bin

I have to admit, the Flying Dutchman is a fantastic piece that will look good in any display. I found it to be the perfect size, and the lights really bring it to life. And boy they are bright.

However, the build was frustrating. Some pieces are not sturdy when connected, and will easily fall off when a mosquito flies by. For example, the bowsprit fell off countless times, causing green spikes to drop off.

The instructions could be better organised. Early on you are guided to add decorative pieces to the sides of the ship, until further into the build you’re told to take them off and apply stickers. Oh, come on.

But, if you ride it out, it does look great when finished. Just don’t breathe on it.

My 10yr old son made this in half a day.He will make the stand later.The build is very nice and has realistic features.

I’ve purchased several JMBricklayer sets before, and the quality has always impressed me. The Shadow Dragon continues that experience with incredible details, solid construction, and a stunning final display. The glowing crystal base makes it one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

I was not expecting this build to look this incredible. The glowing green portal is absolutely the highlight — it feels like a gateway to another dimension. 👀 The dark fantasy design, detailed structure, and lighting effects make it such a unique display piece. Took my time building it, but seeing the final result was totally worth it!

I recently had the great pleasure of building the Medieval Valley, and from start to finish it was an enjoyable experience.
Because of the size of the set, I expected my entire room to disappear under piles of bricks. With many brick sets, the building stages are divided into numbered bags, and I often find myself opening every bag in a stage just to make sure I can find the pieces I need. Fortunately, this set had a much better solution here.
The packaging and organization of the parts were fantastic. Each major stage was further divided into smaller sub-step bags, making the whole experience much more manageable. It was wonderful to be able to decide exactly how much I wanted to build during a session and only open the bags required for that section. Not only did it keep my workspace tidy, but it also did wonders for domestic harmony!
The finished model looks beautiful. The buildings are full of medieval charm, packed with details, and create a lively scene that is a joy to display.
Overall, this was a highly enjoyable build with excellent part organization, engaging construction techniques, and a stunning final result. If you enjoy medieval-themed sets, this one is easy to recommend.

I was honestly surprised by how beautiful this turned out. The colorful flowers, detailed skull design, and glowing eyes make it look like a real piece of art on my shelf.

A fun and challenging build with a great final result. The LED lights create the perfect spooky atmosphere and make it a great shelf display.

I bought this for a weekend activity with my granddaughter, and we had such a great time building it together. The little ice cream details are adorable, and now it has a special place on our shelf. A wonderful memory and a beautiful display piece.

This is my First from JM Bricklayer. I gotta say is was a pleasure to put together. It was neither too hard or too easy to do. When finished it looks wonderful. Love the how it lights up and looks errie. Looking forward to building the other two in the series.

Added the lighting kit after finishing the build and it completely changed the atmosphere. Looks amazing on my shelf at night.

Took me a few evenings to finish and the final result looks incredible on my desk. The size feels much more premium in person.

If the option for 4.7 stars was available, I would have chosen that. My only complaint is the color coding on the instructions is hard to decipher. Outside of that, what a magnificent piece, by far my favorite from this company. The little details jmbricklayer puts into their product keeps me buying more and more. This ship won’t disappoint even the most avid builders. Fantastic craftsmanship at an incredible reasonable price
